Kurt Bradburn is an attorney, mediator, former Assistant Utah Attorney General, and former Mayor of Sandy, with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals, families, businesses, and public organizations resolve complex disputes. Throughout his career, he has advised executives, elected officials, boards, community leaders and families on some of their most challenging legal and interpersonal conflicts, developing a practical, solution-focused approach to negotiation and problem solving.
As the founder of Clean Slate Divorce & Mediation, Kurt is committed to helping Utah couples navigate divorce with less conflict, less expense, and less stress. Do both spouses need to agree to get an uncontested divorce? Yes. An uncontested divorce works best when both spouses are willing to cooperate and reach agreements on the major issues.

Do we both need to hire lawyers? No. Our process is designed to help couples reach a complete settlement agreement and finalize an uncontested divorce without each spouse hiring separate attorneys.

Do We Pay An Hourly Rate? No. We charge a flat fee, not hourly rates. Most cases range from $3,000 to $6,000 depending on complexity. We offer transparent flat-fee pricing so you'll know the cost before we begin.

Will we have to go to court? No. In most cases, court appearances can be minimized or avoided entirely, depending on the circumstances and county requirements.

Will this be resolved faster than a traditional contested divorce? Yes. Most cases can be resolved in just a few weeks, versus months or years for contested divorces.

Do you help couples who have children together?
Yes. We can help you create parenting plans, custody arrangements, and child support agreements that meet Utah legal requirements and work for your family.
